Chief Operating Officer
Mike Hoffman oversees the People & Culture, Finance, IT and Strategy & Operations divisions at the Ounce of Prevention Fund.
Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer in a variety of organizations including multiple divisions of the U.S. Marine Corps and, more recently, the Illinois’ Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Mike also spent two years as the Director of the Illinois Department of Management Services, where he set the state’s human resources, facilities, and labor relations strategies. He has a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University, a master’s degree from Naval Postgraduate School, and holds project management and Six Sigma certifications.
Mike lives in Naperville with his wife, Natalie, and his two sons, Matthew and William.
