Chief Marketing Officer
As chief marketing officer Johanna Vetter is responsible for building strategic solutions that will broaden the base of support for the Ounce and its mission, increase organizational awareness and expand visibility nationally. In her leadership role, Vetter is the architect of the marketing strategies and initiatives that advance the organization’s mission, and increase awareness of the critical programs, research and policies that give at-risk children the best chance for success in school and in life. Vetter oversees marketing, innovation, communications, and brand messaging and positioning across the organization. Before her role at the Ounce, Vetter was the chief marketing officer at Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization. While there, she spearheaded brand strategy, marketing and digital efforts that would drive awareness and engagement for the organization’s local food bank network. By far, Vetter’s most rewarding accomplishment has been raising two beautiful and healthy children, along with her husband on the North Shore in Illinois. Vetter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Providence College.
