Vice President, Advancing Quality
Ann Hanson is Vice President of Advancing Quality, guiding efforts to learn about and scale program, research and policy strategies to improve the quality of early learning.
She leads the Ounce’s work on behalf of the Partnership for Pre-K Improvement, a multi-state effort to build high-quality, equitable pre-k systems in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Previously, Ann worked with Chicago Public Schools on evaluations of education interventions and for the Shedd Aquarium in foundation and government relations.
An alumna of the Education Pioneers fellowship, she holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
