Professional Development Offerings

The Ounce of Prevention Fund is committed to building a highly-skilled early childhood workforce capable of improving outcomes for children across the nation.

Our expertise in training is based on our experience developing, testing and refining innovative adult learning programs. Our learning experiences help early childhood professionals use research results to most effectively serve low-income children and their families.

Lead Learn Excel™

Lead Learn Excel is an innovative approach to on-the-job learning that empowers early childhood leaders to create systems and routines that lead to high-quality instruction. Through Lead Learn Excel, leaders can transform their organizations into effective, high-performing programs that prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. Early childhood education leaders will learn how to use data for shared decision-making, and how to facilitate ongoing professional development with teachers through team lesson planning and peer learning communities.
