The best way for districts to improve partnerships with early learning providers is to learn from the challenges and successes of districts like them. By sharing resources and experiences, district leaders from across the country can collectively improve practice in their local contexts.
This peer learning community includes superintendents, assistant superintendents, school board members, title coordinators, early childhood directors, and others. It helps its members align education in their district, from birth through 3rd grade—which leads to better strategies for supporting children and families.
Through participation in peer learning activities, district leaders can deepen their knowledge of early learning strategies, transfer new knowledge to practice, and expand and deepen supportive relationships with other members of the community.
