At a time when Illinois is facing budget shortfalls and challenging decisions, it’s critical to remind legislators of the importance of early learning programs. Early Childhood Advocacy Day is a chance to talk to your legislators in person in Springfield.

At this free event, hosted by the Ounce and Illinois Action for Children, advocates learned about current legislative and budget issues involving Preschool for All, Prevention Initiative, Early Intervention, home visiting and child care. We welcomed providers, home visitors, teachers, administrators, parents, students and supporters to all speak up on behalf of Illinois’ children and families.

Can’t make it in person? You can still participate virtually to support Strong Children, Strong Families, Strong Communities. Visit our Virtual Advocacy page and help us to #AdvocateECE.
