Through the Partnership for Pre-K Improvement (PPI), a small community of state leaders is advancing a vision for high-quality preschool. Across Oregon, Tennessee, Washington and Arkansas, we are learning together about the program policies and supports needed to drive the continuous improvement and effective implementation of preschool at multiple levels of pre-k systems. Our convening will bring together state leaders, advocates and research partners to share knowledge and strategies, provide peer-to-peer feedback and work in state teams to shape our work together. As with each meeting, PPI partners from the Ounce of Prevention Fund, Cultivate Learning at the University of Washington, the Alliance for Early Success and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will join states to learn together.
- Celebrate successes and problem-solve with peers about pressing program, research and advocacy issues facing your state.
- Build cohesion within your state team and create concrete plans for your improvement work in the coming year.
- Enhance knowledge of concepts essential to continuous improvement of essential elements of pre-k quality and the infrastructure needed to improve it.
- Contribute ideas that will help shape the Partnership for Pre-K Improvement’s approaches to and learning about systemic improvement and to the field’s understanding of quality.
The Partnership for Pre-K Improvement Peer Learning Convening is generously supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
