ISBE Prevention Initiative Forum

December 6–7, 2017


The Illinois State Board of Education and the Ounce of Prevention Fund invite you to attend the 2017 ISBE Prevention Initiative Forum. This forum will bring together state leaders, researchers, program leaders and staff, and experts from across the field to foster thought partnership, provide peer-to-peer networking, and share strategies and important updates during a two-day learning conference.

Registration is now open for the Prevention Initiative Forum, December 6–7, 2017. This two-day event includes:

  • Lunch on Day 1 & 2
  • Continental Breakfast on Day 2
  • 16 Workshop Sessions
  • 3 Plenary Sessions
  • Resource & Networking Lunch


The Prevention Initiative Forum is funded by the Illinois State Board of Education

Registration Policy

In order to extend this learning opportunity statewide to as many ISBE Prevention Initiative programs as possible, each program is permitted to send a maximum of two participants to the PI Forum. We ask for your cooperation during the registration process to guarantee availability for all programs to attend. We recommend consulting with your program supervisor to determine representation prior to completing registration.
